Time Out
I think all of us need to take "time out" and think about just how precious our time is and how we should use it wisely. Everything that we do should be pleasing unto the Lord. We should always keep in mind that God wants us to use our time wisely. You may be wondering, "How can I use my time wisely?" Well some good things you can do with your time are:

  1. Spend a lot of time in prayer. This is a really good way to use your time. Be sure to pray for those around you that may need salvation.

  2. Spend time reading and studying the Bible. This is another really good way to use your time wisely. The Scriptures are encouraging if you need uplifting, they are food for your soul, and they are also strength in times of trouble.

  3. Witness to those around you when you have a chance. There are many people out there that need Jesus, and who is supposed to tell them about Him? I'll let you decide the answer to that question.

  4. Encourage someone who may be discouraged and feel like they don't have a friend. Show God's love to someone and be their friend - that is a valuable way to use your time also.

  5. Be a light in the midst of a dark world. Show the world (by your lifestyle) that there really is hope in Jesus. He is all the world really needs!

There are many other ways to use your time wisely for the Lord - these are just a few ideas. Don't sit around doing nothing for God, because time is short! The time to do something for God is NOW! Don't put it off by saying that you'll do it tomorrow - the time is NOW! Think about it. . .
