Please drop me a note!

Volume 43

This issue has been an interesting one to put together! We have had a very busy summer here on the farm, with company, farming and gardening, etc. Also, my printer hasn't been working properly lately, so I'm not sure yet with I'll be able to get this printed. On the other hand, though, I am really praising the Lord for providing a faster computer for me the last month -- it is such a blessing and has sped up the production process.

I was surprised and blessed with the number of submissions sent in for this issue. So many were received that I have included nearly a dozen of these "extra" articles online -- click here to see the list. All these articles have caused me to rethink some of my own standards and to prayfully consider just why I wear what I do. I pray you will be blessed by them as well!

(As a side note: Can you see "both sides" of the above graphic? E-mail me if you can't figure it out...I think it's pretty neat the way it's put together! :-) I don't know who the artist is -- I made the graphic by scanning in an old flier we've had for years.)

Here's an outline of what this issue contains:

Online articles
So many excellent articles were submitted on the topic of modesty that there was no way I could possibly include them in the printed issue! I just "had" to share them with you all, though :-), so here they are -- I pray they are a blessing to each of you! I'm also including a few links to articles on modesty on other websites.

Please keep in mind that I do not necessary agree with every point made in every article listed here -- in fact, there's a variety of viewpoints represented! I have included each of these articles because they are thought-provoking and they motivated me to check out the Scriptures for my own and see what the Lord was directing for my life. I pray you'll be motivated to do the same!
